This breathtaking round table features a luxurious top showcasing an intricate herringbone parquet pattern in bleached wood, crafted in four quadrants converging at the center, framed by a substantial bullnose edge with authentic distressed patina and wormwood character.

The base is a tour de force sculpture: a massive, solid, hand-carved pedestal in the French Rococo taste, deeply carved with dramatic drapery swags, scrolling acanthus leaves, stylized palm fronds, and large foliate pinecone clusters at the feet. The wood is finished in a highly sought-after bleached, dry-scraped finish that reveals the wild, natural grain, knots, age cracks, and a beautifully sun-faded, time-worn soul that cannot be reproduced. Every detail is hand-carved from solid wood - no resin.

The interior construction shows heavy-duty wood and metal engineering with cross-braced supports and reinforced metal hardware for generational stability.

Perfect as a grand kitchen table, center dining table in a Tuscan villa, Spanish hacienda, or modern French country estate. A true heirloom statement table that is both primitive and palatial. See less
