Magical magnificent mushroom! This 1960's Jeanne gold plated mushroom brooch is the perfect lapel companion. The body of the mushroom is realistically designed with striations and dimpling throughout. It is embellished with faux pearls and colorful faceted rhinestones in shades of sapphire blue, ruby red and emerald green. Outfitted with straight pin and a safety catch...hallmarked 'Jeanne' with an oval medallion. Jeanne was a New York costume jewelry company operated by Jeanne Gans and comparable in quality to Trifari. Jeanne Jewelry often appeared in Vogue Magazine layouts in the 1960's and 1970's.
Very good condition.
Measures 1.88" tall x 1.5" wide x 1" deep including straight pin hardware.
