A dramatic and highly decorative life-size leaping stag sculpture, beautifully capturing the power and movement of a stag in full motion. The sculpture depicts a mature stag with an impressive set of branching antlers, its body extended forward in a dynamic leaping pose. The unusual composition creates a wonderful sense of movement and allows the stag to appear as though it is bounding through planting, across a border or over a low hedge. Cast in aluminium for durability and longevity, the sculpture will not rust and is particularly well suited to year-round exterior display. It is finished by hand in the UK with a rich bronze-effect surface, giving it the visual character of traditional bronze garden statuary. At approximately 145 cm long and up to 140 cm high, this is a substantial statement sculpture with excellent presence. Its dynamic form makes it particularly effective within landscaped gardens, woodland settings and country estates, where surrounding planting can be incorporated into the composition to heighten the illusion of movement. An impressive sculptural focal point suitable for a country house garden, estate, lawn, driveway, hotel, landscaped grounds or large contemporary outdoor space.
