The lamp features a substantial wood-effect / timber-form body complemented by chrome detailing and a geometric glass shade in attractive off-white and subtle vaseline-green tones. The contrasting materials give the piece a particularly strong 1960s modernist character, balancing organic wood grain with crisp metallic accents and softly diffused glass. Standing approximately 59 cm tall, the lamp has excellent scale for use on a desk, console, side table or credenza. Its geometric shade provides atmospheric illumination while retaining a striking decorative presence when switched off. The lamp retains its period fittings, including a b22 bayonet-fit bulb holder, and has been professionally rewired, tested and is in working order. Natural ageing and patination remain consistent with its vintage character. A stylish and increasingly collectible example of 1960s danish lighting, particularly suited to mid-century modern, scandinavian, modernist and eclectic interiors.
