The cabinet features a single drawer across the upper section, providing convenient storage and retaining its original brass hardware. Beneath, a carved panelled door opens to reveal a particularly attractive fitted interior incorporating three additional drawers, offering organised storage within the compact cabinet. The exterior is enhanced by carefully executed carved detailing, while the oak displays a particularly attractive natural grain, rich warm colour and well-developed character throughout. The cabinet is raised upon elegant cabriole legs, giving the piece a graceful profile and providing an attractive contrast to the substantial construction of the case. All original brass handles are retained, further contributing to the period character and authenticity of the piece. Presented in excellent antique condition, this unusual cabinet combines practical storage with a highly decorative appearance. Its relatively compact proportions make it particularly versatile for use in a living room, bedroom, hallway, study or library. Dimensions: Height: 102 cm Width: 52.5 cm Depth: 53 cm See less
