The cupboard features a single full-height door to the front, retaining its original brass handle and preserving the authentic period character of the piece. Opening the door reveals three fixed internal shelves, providing four useful storage areas suitable for books, linens, tableware, collectibles or other household items. The vertical configuration offers generous storage capacity while occupying relatively little floor space. The cupboard is raised upon decorative shaped legs, lending the tall cabinet an elegant and beautifully balanced silhouette while adding subtle architectural interest to the design. Particularly appealing is the walnut itself, displaying pronounced natural grain and attractive figuring throughout. Rich, warm tones and an appealing aged patina give the timber considerable depth and character. Very well constructed with a reassuringly solid feel and presented in good antique condition, with appropriate signs of age and use consistent with its early 20th-century origin. At only 58.5 cm wide, this is a particularly versatile storage piece, providing substantial vertical capacity within a compact footprint. Ideally suited as a linen cupboard, book cupboard, bedside cabinet or general storage cabinet within a bedroom, hallway, study or drawing room.
