The bed features an elegant headboard and coordinating footboard, with polished brass elements providing a rich decorative contrast against the crisp white painted iron framework. The combination creates a timeless appearance that works equally well within traditional and more contemporary bedroom interiors. Particularly desirable is the generous king-size format. Large antique beds of this scale are considerably less commonly encountered than their smaller counterparts, making this an especially appealing example for those seeking authentic period character without compromising on sleeping space. The bed is offered complete with its headboard, footboard, side rails and base, providing the principal components required for assembly and practical use. Its robust construction reflects the quality craftsmanship associated with Victorian bedsteads, while the elegant proportions prevent the substantial size from appearing overly heavy. The polished brass provides warmth and decorative presence, while the white painted iron creates an attractive contrast and highlights the architectural form of the bed. Measuring approximately 152.5 cm wide by 203 cm long, the bed provides generous accommodation while retaining the distinctive character and craftsmanship of a 19th-century piece. Presented in good antique condition, with appropriate signs of age and historic use consistent with its 19th-century origin. A highly desirable Victorian king-size bed combining polished brass, white painted iron, generous proportions and robust construction within an elegant and timeless period design.
