The sideboard is thoughtfully arranged with three central drawers, providing useful storage for cutlery, table linens and other household essentials. Each drawer retains its original handles and fittings, preserving the established character and integrity of the piece.

Flanking the central drawers are two spacious cupboards, one positioned to either side. Each cupboard features a beautifully fitted interior incorporating a single useful shelf, providing excellent organised storage.

The right-hand cupboard also retains its original metal bottle rack, a particularly attractive and practical surviving feature that makes the sideboard especially suitable for use within a dining room or entertaining space.

The Gothic-inspired design gives the piece a strong architectural presence, while its substantial proportions and carefully balanced arrangement create an impressive yet refined appearance.

Crafted from quality oak, the timber displays particularly attractive natural grain, rich warm colouring and appealing tonal variation throughout. The matured oak complements the bold Gothic styling beautifully and gives the sideboard considerable warmth and character.

Very well made and of fine quality, the sideboard demonstrates robust construction and accomplished craftsmanship throughout. Its substantial build reflects the quality of workmanship invested in the piece while providing excellent durability for continued practical use.

At 152 cm wide, the sideboard provides an abundance of storage and a generous display or serving surface, making it equally suitable for a dining room, hallway or substantial living space.

The combination of three drawers, two fitted cupboards, original handles and fittings, original metal bottle rack and richly coloured oak makes this a particularly desirable and functional example.

Presented in good vintage condition, with appropriate signs of age and historic use consistent with its 20th-century origin.

A highly desirable Gothic-style oak sideboard combining impressive architectural character, quality craftsmanship, generous storage and excellent original features within a substantial and timeless design.
