The figure is beautifully modelled with a serene downward gaze, softly curled hair and an elaborate wrapped headdress, lending the sculpture a graceful and distinctly Continental character. The flowing folds of her dress are sculpted across the shoulders and décolletage, contrasting beautifully with the refined facial features and architectural shaped base.
