The dish features a graceful serpentine wavy border surrounding a finely pierced gallery decorated with symmetrical fretwork. The intricate openwork provides an attractive decorative contrast to the polished silver interior. Raised upon a circular stepped pedestal base, the dish has a beautifully balanced elevated profile and is suitable for use as a trinket dish, bon bon dish or decorative table piece. Fully hallmarked for London 1974 and crafted from solid sterling silver, the piece has a substantial net silver weight of approximately 133.8 grams. Presented in very good vintage condition with only minor age-related surface marks. There are no noted losses, splits, bruises, damage or repairs, and the piece remains free from engraved presentation inscriptions or monograms.
