The composition features an elegantly modelled female figure in classical dress, incorporated into an elaborate architectural and ornamental framework. The electroplated silver-toned finish gives the lamp a refined appearance, with naturally developed patination and subtle variations to the surface enhancing its antique character. Designed as a two-light table lamp, the piece incorporates twin fittings arranged around the central sculptural composition, creating a balanced and imposing silhouette. The combination of figurative decoration, flowing forms and elaborate detailing reflects the transition from late Historicism toward the emerging Art Nouveau and Vienna Secession aesthetic. Moritz Hacker was an Austrian manufacturer particularly associated with decorative metalwares and lighting produced in Vienna around the turn of the 20th century. This substantial example offers considerable decorative presence and would work beautifully upon a console, centre table, sideboard or within a sophisticated period interior. Presented in beautiful antique condition with natural ageing and wear consistent with its considerable age. Material Electroplated metal / silver plate Measurements displayed in photos.
