The sofa features a highly distinctive layered silhouette, with generously padded horizontal sections forming the base, seat, backrest and dramatically rounded arms. The repeated cylindrical forms create a bold architectural profile characteristic of the transition from late Modernist design into the more expressive Postmodern interiors of the 1980s. Upholstered throughout in high-quality soft turquoise leather, the sofa has a wonderfully unusual colour that enhances its sculptural appearance.
