Each piece shares the same elegant design, featuring serpentine wavy borders and finely pierced galleries worked with symmetrical fretwork. The cohesive decoration gives the group a beautifully balanced appearance characteristic of the Art Nouveau period. The central tazza is elevated upon three stylised naturalistic paw feet, creating an attractive raised profile, while the accompanying dishes rest upon circular stepped bases. The pieces are individually hallmarked, with the central tazza bearing London 1906 marks and the accompanying dishes Sheffield 1907 marks. Together they have a combined net sterling silver weight of approximately 168.4 grams. There are a couple of minor casting flaws originating from the original construction, as illustrated in the accompanying photographs. Otherwise, the pieces are presented in good antique condition with only minor age-related surface marks. There are no noted bruises, holes, splits, significant damage or repairs. Free from engraved presentation inscriptions or monograms and retaining a beautiful bright patina. Clean and ready for use or display.
