The lamp features a tall, gracefully proportioned silver-plated metal body, its polished architectural form giving the piece a sophisticated presence while retaining the natural patination expected of an original period light. Above sits a decorative period art-glass shade, designed to diffuse the light into a soft and atmospheric glow. The combination of cool silvered metal and softly illuminated glass creates an understated yet luxurious appearance characteristic of high-quality British lighting from the interwar period. The lamp retains period fittings including its B22 bayonet bulb arrangement and Bakelite components. It has been professionally rewired, tested and is presented in working order. A versatile antique light that would sit beautifully on a console, writing desk, side table or bedside cabinet, and would complement Edwardian, Art Deco and contemporary interiors alike. Presented in beautiful period condition with attractive natural ageing and minor wear consistent with its age. Material Silver-plated metal, art glass and Bakelite Measurements displayed in photos.
