The cabinet is arranged in two sections. The upper section features a panelled cupboard door opening to reveal two fixed internal shelves, providing useful storage or display space. Below, a further enclosed cupboard contains an additional shelf, offering substantial concealed storage within the cabinet's compact corner configuration. The exterior is enhanced by finely executed beaded detailing, adding definition and decorative interest while retaining the restrained elegance characteristic of Edwardian furniture. The cabinet stands on a substantial plinth base, giving the tall form a strong and well-balanced appearance. Particularly attractive is the oak, displaying a warm, rich colour with pronounced natural grain and appealing tonal variation throughout. The cabinet also retains its original key, adding to its period character. At 186 cm high, the piece has an impressive architectural presence while its corner design makes particularly efficient use of space. The cabinet separates into two sections, allowing for considerably easier transportation and installation. A practical and attractive example of early 20th century English cabinetmaking, equally suited to a dining room, living room, study or traditional country-house interior. Presented in good condition and ready for use. Dimensions: Height: 186 cm Width: 67.5 cm Depth: 48 cm each side Approximate Weight: 45–60 kg See less
