The upper section incorporates three useful drawers, providing convenient organised storage for smaller household items, linens or personal effects. Each retains its original wooden knob handles, preserving the understated period character of the piece. Below, a pair of substantial cupboard doors opens to reveal generous concealed storage, making the cabinet exceptionally practical while maintaining a clean and beautifully balanced façade. The cupboard doors are enhanced with restrained carved detailing, introducing subtle architectural interest without detracting from the natural beauty and distinctive grain of the pitch pine.
