The lamp displays the clean organic lines associated with Danish lighting of the 1960s. Its elegant elongated form and warm natural teak provide a strong contrast to the softly coloured glass, creating a refined balance between traditional Scandinavian materials and modernist design. The large hand-formed glass element has a softly diffused appearance that produces a warm atmospheric glow when illuminated. The restrained silhouette and combination of wood and glass make this a particularly versatile piece for both mid-century and contemporary interiors. Professionally rewired and presented in working order, this substantial lamp would work particularly well on a console, side table or as an accent light within a Scandinavian-inspired interior.
