The bowls are supported on shaped, fluted socles terminating in substantial square bases, creating an elegant architectural profile. Both urns retain an embossed maker’s mark within the bowls, adding further interest to this decorative pair. Their restrained proportions make them particularly suitable for positioning on gate piers, wall tops, terraces or either side of an entrance, while they can equally be used as traditional garden planters. Each urn is constructed in two sections, with the bowl resting upon the socle. The sections may be secured together if desired.
