The chest incorporates three generously proportioned full-width drawers, providing ample practical storage while maintaining a compact and well-balanced form. Each drawer is fitted with decorative brass cup handles, providing an attractive contrast against the lighter tones of the ash. Particularly appealing is the natural figuring of the timber, with pronounced grain patterns running throughout the façade and top. The warm golden-honey colour further enhances the character and decorative quality of the piece. The chest is raised upon traditional bracket feet, giving the design a refined architectural silhouette while providing a sturdy foundation. Presented in very good antique condition, with appropriate signs of age and use consistent with its early 20th-century origin. A practical and attractive example of English cabinet furniture, suitable for a bedroom, dressing room, hallway or living space and equally at home within traditional or contemporary interiors.
