An exceptionally decorative neoclassical window settee in the manner of Maison Jansen, featuring an ebonized wood frame with parcel-gilt detailing, dramatically scrolling arms, carved rosettes, graceful saber legs, and gilt paw feet. Newly upholstered in Castel Baobab in Ebony, its expressive black-and-white pattern is complemented by tailored Samuel & Sons double welt trim.
The frame has been professionally reglued and the settee fully reupholstered for renewed comfort while retaining the character of its original decorative finish. Measuring only 20 inches deep, its elegant, slender proportions make it particularly well suited to entry halls, bedrooms, and sophisticated living rooms.
