An unusual and quite rare Edwardian cabinet with the original burnt patterned finish. Circa 1900.
The original finish to this decorative cabinet does have a slightly distressed patina in places, expected with age. It has been cleaned and waxed. The flat surface to the top has some finish loss.
The cabinet has three bevelled glass mirror insets to the top and a glazed cupboard below.
The interior has two shelves which can be removed. I have had two keys made to work the lock. This piece would work in many room settings, including the bathroom, to hold towels. The cabinet is free from any woodworm or damage.
Additional dimensions information:
The cupboard space is 58cm wide x 28cm deep. There is 23cm in height in between the shelves.
