The stand features a compact square top measuring approximately 27 cm by 27 cm, providing an ideal elevated surface for displaying a jardinière, potted plant, sculpture, vase or other decorative object. Of particular note is the beautifully carved base, demonstrating considerable attention to detail and adding a strong decorative quality to the piece. The stand is raised upon elegant cabriole legs, creating a graceful and distinctly Victorian silhouette while providing a sturdy and well-balanced foundation. Throughout, the mahogany displays particularly attractive natural figuring and rich grain, complemented by a deep, warm colour and established patina that beautifully highlight the character of the timber. Standing an impressive 115 cm high, the stand has excellent vertical presence while its relatively compact footprint allows it to occupy very little floor space.
