The rounded body is traversed by fine white threads embedded within the glass, arranged in a graphic pattern that follows the curvature of the surface and creates a sophisticated interplay of transparencies. The wide, slightly flared opening balances the generous proportions of the body, while the contrast between the transparent glass and the white decoration creates variations in light and depth depending on the viewing angle. The essential geometry, the spherical form, and the elegant alternation between transparent and white glass evoke the sophisticated design language of Mid-Century Modern Murano glass—a style associated with Tobia Scarpa and Venini. The vase is intact and has no cracks or breakages; there are only slight signs of age, consistent with its vintage.
