Ferruccio Laviani designed the Hi-Cove for Molteni&C, and it was presented at the Milan Furniture Fair in 2005. Its characteristic feature is the construction of two sculpted shells: the upper shell forms the backrest and armrests in broad wings, while the lower shell supports the seat cushion. The grained leather in mocha and the chrome star bases give the pair an elegant, almost sculptural appearance. Facing each other, the two armchairs create a stylish conversation hub, perfect for the living room, library, or reception area.
