Colorful Egyptian Revival artwork depicting a standing royal figure presenting offerings to a seated goddess beneath rows of hieroglyphic motifs. The composition appears to reference Queen Nefertari making offerings to Hathor, with elaborate headdresses, lotus-like flowers, an ankh and a richly decorated throne.
Blue, turquoise, red and gold-tone details contrast with the pale, fibrous support. Its overlapping strip-like texture suggests papyrus, although the material has not been independently authenticated. A signature reading “Mourad,” with additional marks, appears at the lower left; the artist’s full identity is unknown.
The artwork is presented against a broad blush-beige textured mat, surrounded by a black inner border and an ornate gold-tone frame with scrolling corner ornaments, beaded detailing and a twisted outer edge. Its richly detailed presentation complements Egyptian Revival, traditional and Hollywood Regency interiors.
Offered as one framed artwork. Exact medium, production date have not been established.

Preowned condition with visible wear. The gold-tone frame has scattered scratches, abrasions, dents, and chips exposing lighter underlying material, particularly along the side rails, corners and lower-left ornament. The reverse shows finish loss, discoloration and handling marks. The artwork’s support has irregular, frayed-looking edges and tonal variation. Small marks are visible on the surrounding mat. No obvious large tear through the central composition is apparent. Hanging wire is present; its security has not been tested. *Please note that this is pre-owned item and is not brand new.
