An elegant Thun porcelain display plate featuring a broad pierced border of alternating latticework and scrolling botanical cutouts. Its gently scalloped outline is accented by fine gold-colored trim along the outer rim and around the central well.
A colorful floral bouquet fills the center, with an orange-and-yellow tulip, a prominent pink flower, purple and yellow blossoms, delicate blue flowers and green foliage. Three smaller floral sprays decorate the openwork border. The shallow raised sides and circular foot give the piece an attractive profile when displayed on a sideboard or in a china cabinet.
The underside bears the crowned “1794 Thun Czech Republic” backstamp and the number “5.” Offered as one plate. A graceful addition to traditional, French country or romantic interiors.
