The ring centers on a beautifully colored rectangular faceted tourmaline in a delicate pale blue-green hue, flanked by two small round white topaz gemstones set with in an open, scrolling gold mounting. The tourmaline center stone measures approximately 7mm x 5mm and is elevated in a traditional prong setting, allowing its color and faceting to remain the principal focus of the ring. The white topaz is positioned to either side of the tourmaline and provides contrast and sparkle without overwhelming the softer coloration of the tourmaline. Particularly attractive is the ring's delicate openwork yellow-gold setting with curving and scrolling elements giving the ring an airy, almost floral appearance.
