This is a charming and elegant set of sculptural bookends, depicting a man and a woman engrossed in reading.
The figures are crafted from a high-quality resin with a dark bronze and copper-toned finish, giving them the look and feel of heavy antique metal. The male figure is seated on a textured black cube reading a newspaper, while the female figure is seated on a similar cube reading a book. The minimalist, faceless design of the figures adds a touch of modern, abstract artistry to the vintage aesthetic.
These substantial bookends are perfect for holding up books on a desk or bookshelf, and they double as beautiful, freestanding decorative sculptures for an office, study, or living room.
