It showcases the highly celebrated traditional decorative style known as "Millefleur" (or "Thousand Flowers" / 百花不落地).
Unlike traditional vases that leave white space, this piece is entirely covered in a dense, continuous tapestry of vibrant, hand-painted flowers—including peonies, chrysanthemums, lotuses, and plum blossoms—in a brilliant array of pinks, blues, yellows, oranges, and greens. There is virtually no empty ground visible, symbolizing a wish for endless prosperity and auspiciousness. The piece is beautifully finished with gilded (gold) lines that accentuate its faceted edges and neck, adding an extra layer of luxurious texture.
