It is beautifully hand-painted in the classic Famille Rose (Fencai) palette.
The vase is adorned with a bright imperial yellow ground on the neck and shoulders, decorated with intricate scrolling floral motifs and gilded (gold) accents that highlight its architectural shape. The main body features a large, clear "cartouche" (开光) panel, which displays a magnificent, highly detailed mythological scene. In this scene, a group of traditional Chinese deities—including Guanyin (Goddess of Mercy) and various celestial beings—are depicted standing on swirling auspicious clouds. The vibrant colors of their flowing robes (pink, purple, blue, green) create a stunning contrast against the white background.
