About This Rug:
This one-of-a-kind Christmas stocking is cut from an authentic vintage Turkish rug and carries the soft, sun-washed palette of the original weave. A creamy ground is scattered with black-outlined floral stems, small leaves and tiny flower heads in faded peach, terracotta and pale gold, framed by rust-brown border bands with small diamond and floral motifs, while the cream lower boot continues the vine pattern down to the toe. The low, hand-trimmed pile shows the fine hand-knotted structure beneath. Each piece is cut from a different rug, so the stocking you receive has its own individual character.
