About This Rug:
This one-of-a-kind Christmas stocking is cut from an authentic vintage Turkish rug and carries the soft, faded charm of the original weaving. A sage green side band edged with thin black stripes frames a warm field of peach, apricot and mustard gold, where black and dark brown scrolls curl around a coral flower with an olive green center. The pale cream lower boot carries green leaves and a small coral rose near the toe. The low, hand-trimmed pile shows the hand-knotted construction and gives the piece a soft, lived-in character. Each piece is cut from a different rug, so the stocking you receive has its own character.
