The sculptural form features a softly squared silhouette with a dramatic concentric spiral carved into the interior, finished in a beautifully textured cream and earthy brown glaze.

The exterior is equally compelling, with deeply carved, undulating geometric reliefs creating a rhythmic interplay of light, shadow, and texture. The contrast between the natural brown stoneware and speckled glaze highlights the organic, Brutalist qualities of Scandinavian mid-century ceramic design.

With its broad, shallow proportions and architectural presence, this exceptional jardiniere would make a stunning bonsai planter or tabletop centerpiece. A wonderful example of Starck’s distinctive approach to modernist ceramics, balancing sculptural geometry with expressive craftsmanship. Equally compelling displayed on its own as a collectible work of Danish design.

In excellent vintage condition.
