The plate presents a finely painted Asian figural tableau at center, executed on Rosenthal’s Rhododendron blank — a painter’s form widely used for hand‑decorated atelier work during the interwar period (the years between World War I and World War II). The palette is soft and refined, with a white ground that sets off the narrative composition.

A strong example of early Rosenthal hand‑painted porcelain, suitable for display or wall mounting. See less
