Measuring approximately 28.5 inches tall when assembled, this colorful sculptural grouping makes a striking centerpiece for a console, sideboard, or entry table.

The birds feature intricate wirework defining turquoise and royal-blue scale patterns, floral medallions, and richly colored layered plumage. Red, green, yellow, and blue enamel details contrast with brass-tone metal crests, open beaks, and textured talons. Their elongated tails and contrasting poses create a graceful, dimensional composition.

The carved wood stand resembles a gnarled tree trunk or branch, complementing the birds’ elaborate decoration with a naturalistic silhouette.

Chinese, 20th century. Sold as a complete grouping comprising two pheasant sculptures and one carved wood stand.
