Hand-blown in Italy and attributed to the historic Fratelli Toso workshop, the piece is meticulously crafted using the complex "Millefiori" (thousand flowers) mosaic technique. Countless intricately patterned, multi-colored murrine canes are tightly packed and fused together, seamlessly encased within a heavy, substantial transparent aqua-blue glass body.
The dramatically crimped, undulating rim interacts beautifully with passing light, creating a rich visual landscape from every angle. This heavy, high-quality art glass piece makes a phenomenal sculptural statement on a mantel, entry console, or dining table, lending a sophisticated pop of authentic Italian modernism to Hollywood Regency, coastal, or eclectic interiors.
