A beautiful slice of 1950s Americana for your kitchen counter! This is the highly collectible "Sweethearts" Umbrella Kids cookie jar, manufactured by the renowned American Bisque Pottery Company. It features their distinct, vibrant airbrushed glazes depicting a little boy in a glossy yellow slicker and a little girl in a blue dress sitting together on a brick bench under a green umbrella lid.
The back is stamped/incised with the authentic mold mark: "USA 739".
* Condition: Very Good vintage condition (VGUC) and displays beautifully with bright, glossy glaze work. To ensure total transparency for collectors, please note the following age-related details:
1. CRAZING: There is faint, typical, age-appropriate light glaze crazing across both the main body and the green lid. It is more noticeable upon close inspection under direct lighting but does not affect structural integrity.
2. LID FLAW: There is one small, tight hairline crack located right on the bottom rim/edge of the green umbrella lid (clearly highlighted in our close-up photos). It is stable, clean, and hidden from view when the lid is resting on the base.
