A charming pair of armless slipper chairs in a romantic blush pink and sage green rose floral on a cream ground. Each has a deep, generous seat and a loose, piped back cushion for a relaxed English-country feel. The turned front legs end in brass casters, giving these a George Smith-inspired look, and the casters make them easy to move. The rear legs are a simple saber shape. The chairs were made especially for Storehouse in the late 1990s to early 2000s, and the original label is still attached.
Compact and versatile, they work well flanking a fireplace, at the foot of a bed, in a dressing area, or facing each other across a small table. They suit traditional, cottage, grandmillennial, and Palm Beach interiors. The frames are sturdy with no wobble, so they're also a solid base if you'd like to reupholster in a fabric of your choice.

Please review all photos closely, as the chairs are sold as-is. Structure: Both frames are sturdy, with no wobble or loose joints. The seats and back cushions are intact. The turned front legs and brass casters are in place, and the casters roll. Upholstery: The original fabric is faded overall, with light yellowish spotting and soiling on both seat cushions. It is not torn or ripped, but one chair has a worn, frayed spot at the front corner where the weave is pulled (see close-up photo). Piping and seams are intact. The back cushions are plump and hold their shape. Wood and hardware: The legs show light surface wear and some scuffs consistent with age. The casters have a natural aged patina. Original tags: The original Storehouse tag and Guardsman protection label are still attached underneath. Home: From a smoke-free and pet-free home. These chairs have not been reupholstered or restored. They would benefit from professional cleaning or reupholstery, and the frames are a good base for either. Colors in the photos may vary slightly with lighting, so the fabric reads more pink in some images and more cream in others. less
