A holy grail of American mid-century design, this iconic pair features a dramatic, low-slung structural shell crafted from a singular sheet of masterfully contoured bent plywood.
The chairs are elevated by elegantly tapered, splayed solid wood legs anchored by their original black iron cross-bracing matrix. They retain their original, vibrant chartreuse/avocado green tufted vinyl cushions with intact button detailing, offering an incredibly rare opportunity for collectors seeking an authentic, un-restored period aesthetic. The bentwood frames showcase a gorgeous natural wood grain finish with exceptional vintage structural integrity. A definitive, museum-worthy statement set perfect for a high-end mid-century modern living space, office, or design portfolio. See less
