Add a touch of classic Chinoiserie elegance to your home with this stunning vintage Chinese porcelain ginger jar, complete with its matching domed lid and a dark-stained footed wooden display stand. Produced for the late 20th-century export market by the highly collectible WBI (Waibo) cooperative, this 13-inch jar features a beautifully detailed, hand-painted "Famille Rose" style motif. Vibrant pink peaches—traditional Chinese symbols of longevity and good fortune—are depicted hanging from twisting branches alongside blooming pink flowers, pomegranates, yellow blossoms, and soft green leaves against a crisp ivory porcelain background.
The underside features the authentic, stamped red WBI logo along with the historical US FDA-mandated decorative warning stamp typical of the era. Perfect for traditional, maximalist, grandmillennial, or eclectic interiors, this impressive statement piece functions beautifully on a fireplace mantel, an entryway console table, or as a centerpiece on a dining room sideboard.
