A little piece of mid-century art history. ️✨ We are absolutely mesmerized by this vintage Peter Marsh chunk glass lamp.
Hand-crafted by The House of Peter Marsh in Birmingham, England between the late 1940s and 1960s, these iconic lamps are legendary for their bold, brutalist style. Marsh’s hallmark design embeds thick, hand-broken fragments of vibrant multi-colored rock glass directly into heavy-wrought iron and lead frames. When unlit, it’s a striking, industrial sculpture—but switch it on, and it casts the most spectacular, glowing array of colors across the room.
