The upper section features two useful drawers, providing convenient storage for cutlery, linens and smaller household items. Below, the sideboard is arranged with two cupboard sections, creating a practical combination of open and concealed storage. The left-hand cupboard is open for convenient access, while the right-hand cupboard contains a single internal shelf, providing additional organised storage. The piece retains its original handles and fittings, contributing greatly to its authentic period character. The sideboard is raised on graceful cabriole legs in the Queen Anne style, giving the substantial cabinet an elegant and well-balanced silhouette. Their flowing form provides an attractive decorative contrast to the clean architectural lines of the main body.
