The chairs display elegant Georgian proportions and particularly attractive craftsmanship throughout. Each features a beautifully shaped back enriched with detailed carved decoration, providing considerable visual interest while retaining the refined character associated with quality Georgian seating. The chairs are raised on sturdy square legs united by supportive stretchers, creating a strong and well-balanced construction suitable for continued practical use. The set comprises four matching side chairs together with two generously proportioned carvers, providing an ideal arrangement for a six-seat dining table. The carvers have broader proportions and additional presence while maintaining a cohesive design with the accompanying side chairs. Each chair is fitted with an attractive red drop-in seat, providing comfortable seating while introducing a rich contrast against the warm tones of the mahogany.
