A charming pair of vintage painted tin angels, each depicted in flight playing a long trumpet. Their opposing poses make a beautiful arrangement above a mantel, flanking a doorway, or incorporated into a holiday wall display.
Distinctive vintage Christmas colors give this pair its festive character, with variations in the painted decoration adding visual interest. Shaped metal wings, embossed details, and weathered surfaces lend dimension and aged charm. Lovely for seasonal decorating or year-round folk art display.
Stylistically reminiscent of Mexican tin folk art; country of origin and maker are unconfirmed. Both angels have attached hanging loops and are ready to hang. Sold together as a pair.
Dimensions: Each approximately 17.5 inches wide × 6 inches high × 0.5 inches deep.
Estimated period: Mid-20th century, possibly 1960s; exact date unconfirmed.
