A beautiful complementary pair of vintage, mid-to-late 20th-century porcelain baluster-form vases. This curated set features two distinct, classic Asian ceramic glazing techniques that pair together elegantly on a console, mantle, or shelf.
The larger vase is finished in a smooth, high-gloss monochrome celadon glaze with a soft seafoam green hue. The smaller vase features a warmer hue of celadon with a dense, intentional "ice-crackle" or fish-roe glaze pattern, accented by two hand-painted green rings just beneath the flared rim. Both vessels feature classic baluster silhouettes with elongated necks and flared lips.
The larger vase includes a protective felt pad on the base to safeguard furniture surfaces, while the smaller vase retains its clean, unglazed porcelain foot rim with two small rubber bumpers.
