Add a classic touch of mid-century restaurant nostalgia to your home bar or ceramic collection with this authentic, vintage set of three (3) Benihana of Tokyo promotional cocktail mugs and two original wooden stirrer sticks. Manufactured in Japan during the 1970s by the renowned Miyanaga Pottery studio, these heavy-duty white glazed ceramic vessels were traditionally used to serve exotic specialty drinks at the famous teppanyaki restaurant chain.

The Collection Includes:
• 1 Sumo Wrestler Vessel: Features a fierce ceremonial expression with raised hands, detailed mawashi belt, and a front-facing belly straw hole. Traditionally used for the high-capacity "Sumo Juicer" cocktail.
• 1 Geisha Girl Vessel: Elegantly detailed kimono figure with molded plum blossoms, holding an open folding hand fan (sensu) with a straw hole located on the chest.
• 1 Snow Maiden (Yuki-Onna / Oshin) Vessel: Depicts a young girl bundled in a traditional straw winter hood (yuki-minto) and boots, holding a small cup that functions as a front-facing straw slot.
• 2 Original Wooden Stirring Sticks: Complete with decorative mother-of-pearl accent discs featuring a classic sunburst motif.

Each figural vessel features an open back cavity designed to hold crushed ice and spirits, along with dedicated pinholes engineered to anchor drinking straws. The reverse side of each piece is finished with a bold, dark blue stamped Benihana of Tokyo text logo and their iconic chrysanthemum flower crest. The unglazed bases are clearly stamped with the incised "JAPAN" origin text and the signature lowercase script "m" potter's mark for Miyanaga Toki.

Condition:
Excellent vintage condition. Structurally pristine with absolutely no chips, cracks, structural breaks, repairs, or fleabites. The blue ink branding stamps are remarkably crisp, dark, and fully legible. In keeping with authentic mid-century glazed ceramics, the surfaces show beautiful, clean, naturally occurring fine glaze crazing that adds excellent vintage character without impacting structural integrity. Items have been thoroughly cleaned and are ready for display or use. One of the stirrer sticks has a chip on the dangle.
