This complete, ready-to-display seasonal scene centers around a highly detailed miniature St. Nick nestled onto a beautifully finished, live-edge wood slice base.
Standing 3.75 inches tall, the miniature Belsnickel is meticulously hand-cast using premium plaster from an authentic, antique German metal chocolate mold. He is hand-painted in a matte historical moss green chalk paint, detailed with a warm white vestment, and accented with a tarnished antique gold crozier. The figure is finished with a professional dark antiquing glaze that settles deep into the mold's original lines, casting a soft patina that beautifully replicates a true 19th-century chalkware heirloom. St. Nick is fully sealed with a professional matte protective layer to lock in the paint and shield against dust.
Flanking the figure is a miniature forest consisting of three completely handmade, solid wool core needle-felted trees in a heathered pine green. To capture the magic of a vintage winter night, the entire scene is kissed with a delicate dusting of authentic, imported German Diamond Dust glass glitter. Unlike modern plastic glitters, this genuine crushed-glass frost provides a spectacular, diamond-like twinkle across St. Nick’s shoulders and the forest floor that will age beautifully over time.
The entire composition is permanently secured to a gorgeous 5-inch live-edge wood round that anchors the background forest canopy and a miniature pile of split logs. The base is finished with a soft felt bottom to protect delicate home surfaces. Offering four distinct pieces of artisan folk art integrated into one unified display, this vignette is perfectly scaled for a fireplace mantel, bookshelf, or window sill, and looks particularly fabulous showcased under a glass cloche.
