The substantial crankshaft forms the central pedestal, its complex mechanical geometry giving the table a highly architectural and sculptural presence. At the top, twelve engine pistons radiate outward beneath the circular glass surface, creating a dramatic display of the components normally concealed within a high-performance engine. The metalwork has been finished with a triple powder-coated chrome-effect treatment, producing a brilliant, highly reflective surface that accentuates every contour and engineered detail. The polished appearance contrasts beautifully with the transparent glass tabletop, allowing the intricate construction beneath to remain fully visible. with its elevated proportions, the piece works particularly well as a bar-height table, occasional table, breakout table or dramatic corner table. It would make an exceptional addition to a contemporary residence, home bar, office, showroom, luxury garage or collection of automotive and industrial design. The table is supplied complete with the circular glass top shown. A highly unusual fusion of automotive engineering, industrial sculpture and contemporary furniture design, offering both functional use and considerable visual impact. See less
