The hand-moulded glass shade features a lively period floral design, bringing together rich decorative colour with the clean architectural fittings characteristic of art deco lighting. Its distinctive profile gives the fixture considerable sculptural presence while allowing the patterned glass to become particularly attractive when illuminated. The shade is mounted within its original chrome-plated ventilated gallery, complete with original locking bolts, and retains a brass b22 bayonet-fit bulb holder. A white-metal alloy central column connects the light to its matching ceiling plate, completing the streamlined period composition. The fixture has been serviced, wired and tested and is reported to be in full working order.
