The set comprises … Read more A fine antique sterling silver three-piece cruet set dating to 1926, displaying elegant traditional english silver craftsmanship. The set comprises a mustard pot, salt cellar and pepperette, accompanied by two matching condiment spoons. Each principal piece features finely pierced borders arranged in symmetrical decorative patterns and finished with gadrooned corded rims. The cruet pieces are raised upon graceful cabriole legs embellished with scrolling motifs, giving the set an attractive elevated profile and a refined classical character. All three principal components bear matching birmingham hallmarks for 1926. The set has a combined net silver weight of approximately 87.9 grams and a combined gross weight of approximately 166 grams. An attractive and practical example of early 20th-century english silver tableware, suitable for use, display or inclusion within a collection of fine silver.
